Posted 8/18/2021

LYA is now participating in the Community Eligibility Program. This program allows the school to offer every school day:

  • one free breakfast through the USDA National School Breakfast Program and
  • one free lunch through the USDA National School lunch Program to all students daily

All other additional lunch purchases by students must be paid in full with cash at the time of purchase.

LYA utilizes a breakfast in the classroom service delivery model. Each week each student will receive breakfast in the classroom consisting of fruit, grain product and choice of milk.

If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions please do not hesitate to contact the Esther Kosofsky, Food Services Director at 413-456-8665 x 10.
