Nitzan Ovadia was born and raised in Jerusalem and lives in Rechavia. She has been working as a tour guide for the last 11 years. When Nitzan is not working as a tour guide she can be found helping out with her nieces and nephews while her brothers are on reserve duty.
Since Oct. 7 Nitzan has spent much of her time volunteering. In addition to running tours, she works on educational programming and in summer camps. Her favorite thing to do in Israel is hike in the Golan Heights and visit the City of David.
I am looking forward to working with the LYA students. I have worked with Birthright tours that are sponsored through Chabad and I have a close relationship with Mayanot. I believe that a good tour is a team effort and should be interactive. I love to involve the students, as it will give them ownership of the program.
The 7th & 8th graders cannot wait to meet Nitzan and learn from her.
